Past programs
Book Distribution to Primary Schools and Colleges in Rural India
Dr.Aruna Sethupathi and her family have been primarily involved in this aspect of the Foundation. They have been collecting used books from an organization based in Glen Ellyn – SCARCE which is dedicated to rescuing books from going to landfill. She has been working tirelessly, collecting from grade school to college level books and shipping them to India. By with other charitable organizations in India we were able to distribute these books to various rural schools with minimal facilities. So far approximately >500,000 books have been shipped to about 1200 schools and 300 colleges in India. Community members and professionals supported this program through small donations
Care for Poor Pregnant Women
Working with two NGOs, Olirum Erodu Foundation, & Wonder Healthcare solutions we supported a program that was designed to help prevent maternal deaths and complications in one government general hospital and 5 Primary Health Centers in the District of Erode, Thamil Nadu India. That program ran from July 2017- July 2019. We helped to buy biometric devices and to hire employees who were trained to use the devices and check vital signs of the patient who were in labor every 4-6 hours which helped to identify sick patients.

HELP-IN Foundation can raise $100,000 from HELP Charitable Foundation of the US to help build a mother and baby unit at Thalavadi with all the facilities for emergency Obstetric and Neonatal care.
